Our roots trace back to the 1970s, when founder Mike Lamprill partnered with the British Intermediate Technology Group to engineer solutions specifically for developing nations. 

Formally established in 1980, Gusto Caribbean was built on a singular mission: to equip Caribbean industries with technology that truly fits their operational reality.

From sugar mills and rum distilleries to airports and power plants, our legacy is defined by long-term partnerships and honest service. Today, that same commitment to doing things properly guides every decision we make as we serve clients globally. 

Gusto Caribbean continues operation under the stewardship of his son Frank after the passing of Mike Lamprill in 2026
